A letter of intent AI x CityLab has been signed in Poznań. The parties to the agreement include City of Poznań, In_Spire Foundation, Artificial Intelligence Centre of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poznań University of Technology, Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences – Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Centre and Łukasiewicz – Poznań Institute of Technology.

In connection with the development of the idea of Smart City in Poznań, the parties declare multidimensional cooperation and involvement in the development of artificial intelligence to support administrative processes and provide modern digital services to the residents of Poznań. The main objective of the venture is to prepare the city for any threats and provide a joint response to potential cyber attacks.

The partners promise to jointly identify challenges, prototype, apply for external funding, collaborate on projects, implement pilot projects and train staff.
