Almost PLN 10 million to be allocated for student innovations

The Ministry of Education and Science will allocate almost PLN 10 million to support student scientific clubs as part of the ‘Student Scientific Clubs Create Innovations’ programme. Funding will be provided for 174 innovative projects.

In the 3rd programme, 308 applications were submitted and 174 projects with a total value of nearly PLN 10 million were qualified for funding.

The authors of the projects are students from 61 universities. Most projects were submitted by teams from the following universities: Silesian Medical University in Katowice (10 projects), Warsaw Medical University (9 projects) and Wrocław University of Science and Technology, Poznań University of Technology and AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków (8 projects).

The programme ‘Student Scientific Clubs Create Innovations’ was established in September 2020. Its aim is to support students in the implementation of innovative projects, to improve the quality of the activities of scientific circles, and to improve the mechanism for the transfer of technology and technical solutions to the economic sphere.
