Almost PLN 100 million for the expansion of the Lodz University of Technology

Jarosław Gowin, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Science and Higher Education and Prof. Sławomir Wiak, Rector of the Lodz University of Technology, signed an agreement under which the Ministry of Science will allocate PLN 97.5 million for the development of the infrastructure at the Łódź University.

As part of this targeted subsidy, a modern conference and teaching center, as well as a laboratory and didactic building of the Faculty of Chemistry of the Lodz University of Technology will be financed.

Lodz University of Technology is one of the best technical universities in Poland – said Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin. – The Chemical Faculty is a strong scientific center of the University of Technology, which needs an adequate infrastructure for further development if we want Łódź to be a city, whose development is based, among others, on modern industry. In this way, we implement a strategy of responsible development, which should turn Poland towards the innovative economy, towards the revolution 4.0 – added the Deputy Prime Minister.
