An employee of the Poznań University of Technology becomes the vice-president of the Audio Engineering Society

Dr Eng. Ewa Łukasik from the Department of Operational Research and Artificial Intelligence of the Poznań University of Technology became the vice-president of the Audio Engineering Society (AES). In the association, she will be responsible for the region of Central Europe.  

AES is an international sound engineering association based in New York, operating since 1948. It brings together people professionally related to phonic technology (audio), scientists and students of technical and music universities, including IT specialists. Currently it has over 12 thousand members, grouped into 210 sections (including student sections).

The association conducts extensive research, standardization, publishing and exhibition activities. Twice a year, it organizes two large proaudio conferences called conventions, one in Europe (spring) and one in the United States (autumn) combined with exhibitions of audio equipment. It also organizes numerous international thematic conferences.
