“Sustainability – an ever closer alliance” was the motto of this year’s meeting of representatives from the seven member universities of the 4EU+ Alliance in Copenhagen.
Rectors, coordinators of flagship programmes, staff, doctoral students and students of the Warsaw, Charles in Prague, Heidelberg, Sorbonne, Copenhagen, Geneva and Milan universities discussed in Copenhagen the Alliance’s achievements and plans for the future, including issues relating to sustainable development.
The University of Warsaw was represented by around 30 people, including members of the Rector’s team: Prof. Alojzy Z. Nowak, Rector of the University, Prof. Sławomir Żółtek, Vice-Rector for Students and Quality of Education, Prof. Sambor Grucza, Vice-Rector for Cooperation and Staff Affairs, Prof. Zygmunt Lalak, Vice-Chancellor for Research, as well as the coordinators of the 4EU+ flagship programmes at UW: Dr Grzegorz Kula, Dr Anna Wojtyś, Prof. Agata Bareja-Starzyńska, Prof. Błażej Miasojedow, Dr Julia Pawłowska and Dr Mariola Zalewska.
