The architecture faculty of the Silesian University of Technology took the first place in the Top 10 for the Future ranking, organized by the journal Builder monthly. The criteria for the evaluation of faculties included: the number of lectures, exercises, case-studies, workshops, consultations and competitions organized as well as all the initiatives of scientific groups and student groups. The prizes were also won by individual students.

In the Young Architect Manifesto competition, the second prize was received by Bartosz Słomka for his work “Tunnel”. The awards were also received by Wojciech Szkarłat for the work “Sport & Living Hybrid”, Marta Błaszczyk and Kacper Kania for the work “GlazeNet” and Katarzyna Przybyła for the work “Genesis – Oceanization, Scientific and residential base”.

In addition, Marta Lata and Mateusz Pietryga, students, who have earlier cooperated within the work “Playground for Architects” with graduates Dobrochna Lato and Agata Czechowska, won the award in the Young Architect’s Challenge competition.
