The Aristotle University in Thessaloniki has launched the Polish language course. The project is carried out by the College of Polish Language and Culture for Foreigners of the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań as part of the “Promotion of the Polish language” program organized by the National Agency for Academic Exchange. The event is also supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Athens.
This academic year, students of the largest Greek university can learn Polish in two beginners’ and one more advanced groups. The project assumes hybrid teaching – classes are conducted largely online, with a monthly break in each semester for the teacher’s stay at the partner university and traditional teaching.
The changeable form is attractive: speaking Polish language live is a reward for the most motivated students, who are abundant in Thessaloniki, which proves that Poland remains an interesting scientific and tourist destination. The project will last until June 2022.
