The authorities of the National Center for Research and Development (NCBR) visited the Białystok University of Technology to assess its potential. Last year, the university received almost PLN 43 million from the NCBR.

The director of the NCBR, Dr Eng. Wojciech Kamieniecki indicated the areas of cooperation between the Center and the University.

He mentioned the potential in forestry which is one of the strengths of the University of Technology.

-I also suggested the rector analyze the extension of food processing – perhaps with some agricultural business – said the head of the National Center for Research and Development and emphasized that international cooperation is also important.

Prof. Marta Kosior-Kazberuk, the rector of the Białystok University of Technology, is convinced that the university can cooperate with the NCBR in many areas.

-We are interested in various projects including financing innovations in digitization and automation, but also projects increasing competencies – explained Prof. Marta Kosior-Kazberuk.
