The Ministry of Infrastructure, Warsaw University of Technology, Maritime University of Szczecin, Poznań University of Technology, Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center, Civil Aviation Authority, Polish Air Navigation Services Agency and the Polish Chamber of Unmanned Systems signed a letter of intent on the establishment of the Autonomous Technology Testing Network.

The main goal of the initiative is supporting the development of unmanned systems technology and stimulating scientific, research and business cooperation by providing specialized test infrastructure.

The Warsaw University of Technology offers the use of the new Aerospace Research Center, located at the university’s airport in Sieraków next to Przasnysz, within the framework of the Network.

Research in this center is currently conducted by scientists and students from the faculties of: Mechanical Power and Aviation, Electronics and Information Technology, and Geodesy and Cartography.
