The “Greenhouse” project of the Furniture Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław was awarded in the international competition LIT Lighting Design Awards in the “Light Art Project” category.

The design team proposed installation based on the archetype of greenhouses. Modification of the geometry, it was given a lofty character. From the very beginning, the designers expressed the need to emphasize small objects – represented in the installation of ceramic forms with germinating plants. The highlighting element is the light illuminating the roots of plants in the shelves and other exhibits.

The distinction enables “Greenhouse” to be shown at Tokyo LIT Exhibition, among selected 30 other objects. The exhibition will be held in Tokyo in mid-May.
