National Science Center (NCN) Days will be held in Białystok on 11 and 12 May, with the aim to encourage female researchers at various stages of their careers, working in various centers, to participate in competitions organized by the Center and to support them in the preparation of grant applications NCN.

The NCN Days are co-organized by academic and scientific institutions from Podlasie: the University of Białystok, Białystok University of Technology, Medical University of Białystok and the Mammal Research Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Białowieża. The program of the event includes a meeting of the management and the NCN Council with the scientific community of the region and a discussion on the NCN grant offer.

The opening lecture of the NCN Days “A recipe for satisfaction and success in science” will be given by Prof. Barbara Malinowska from the Medical University of Bialystok, a physiologist and pharmacologist, winner of three NCN grants.
