Białystok University of Technology to train several hundred local government employees

Białystok University of Technology (PB) has signed a cooperation agreement with the Association of Rural Municipalities of Podlaskie Voivodeship. This will enable the improvement of digital competences of the community in the area encompassing the Union’s municipalities and the training of almost 500 employees of local government units.

This is the implementation of the university’s mission, which is related to lifelong learning,” says Marta Kosior-Kazberuk, Ph.D., Rector of the Białystok University of Technology. We offer training in competences related to the implementation of e-services, especially in administration, as well as improving knowledge of cyber security. This knowledge is actually necessary for everyone to function. There are no age limits here, these courses are for everyone at any age,” says the rector of the University.

The Union of Rural Municipalities of the Podlaskie Voivodeship is an organisation bringing together rural municipalities, urban-rural municipalities and towns with up to 20,000 inhabitants in the Podlaskie Voivodeship.
