The Bielsko-Biała University of Technology and Humanities is implementing the international project YETI (Young Entrepreneurial Teachers Initiatives), which aims to support pro-entrepreneurial teacher education, solve related problems and create space for international discussion on the role of entrepreneurship in teaching and teacher education.

In today’s world, entrepreneurial skills are essential skills that every student needs. However, understanding of the concept of (pro-) Entrepreneurship Education is still quite limited, even among teachers themselves.

According to the YETI team, the first step to change this situation is to support changes in the way teachers are trained to make them more entrepreneurial right from the start of their careers, to enable them to teach in a (pro-)entrepreneurial way – in order to create a better future for young generations of Europeans.
