Julia Denis, Izabela Kotlewska and Małgorzata Styczewska are students of the Medical Faculty of the Medical University of Gdańsk, who won the team classification of the National Polish Bioсhemistry Review “Superhelisa 2018”.
Małgorzata Styczewska was also the best “Young Biochemist”. She scored the highest number of points in all three stages of the competition. The second place was Dominik Rus from the medical department of the Warsaw Medical University, the third was Piotr Mielczarek from the Silesian Medical University in Katowice. Teams from Katowice and Warsaw took the second and third place in the team competition.
In the 15th National Competition of Biochemical Knowledge, 30 best medical students from Polish universities took part. After written analysis of issues, a test of the entire material and a final oral statement, students visited the European Solidarity Center and the Gdańsk Old Town.
