For the 8th time the University of Szczecin invites viewers to take part in the Biologists’ Night. On January 11, employees and students of the biology department prepared interesting lectures, demonstrations and workshops as well as laboratory classes.

The themes of the Biologists’ Night will be related to the world of plants, immunology, biochemistry, cell biology and genetics. The organizers prepared electric bioimpedance demonstrations and workshops as well as laboratory classes during which participants will be able to analyze your body composition – fat, muscle and body water.
They will also be able to isolate and view their own DNA, find out how animals communicate with each other and what tricks flowers use to attract pollinating insects. It will also be possible to find out what plants are gathered at home and find out if bacteria are our enemy or ally and why laughter helps to loose weight and heals.
