The PhD students of the Opole University of Technology were the hosts of the Second Open Meeting of the Board of the National PhD Students Representation. PhD students came to Opole from 26 Polish academic centers to discuss the most important environmental problems.

Among the most important issues discussed during the meeting was the draft law on higher education. As the secretary of the KRD’s board – Anna Kuklińska said, the Constitution for Science will be a “very big revolution” for PhD students. The takeover of education of young scientists by PhD students as assumed in the project will cover over 40,000 students throughout the country.

In addition to serious discussions, the meeting at the Opole technical university gave PhD students from different cities an opportunity to get to know each other.
