Branch of the Catholic University of Lublin launched in Stalowa Wola

22.02.2021

The main assumptions of the transformation of the Faculty of Engineering and Technical Sciences in Stalowa Wola into a branch of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (KUL) are the expansion of the educational offer and its adaptation to local educational needs.

The branch will continue education in the fields of studies conducted so far by the Faculty, i.e. Environmental Engineering, Material Engineering and Law, but the educational offer will be systematically expanded. Currently the university is planning to launch Dietetics and Nursing.

The introduced change is intended to organize and improve the functioning of the non-local part of the Catholic University of Lublin.

The fact of the existence of a branch instead of a faculty underlines its strict affiliation to an integrally understood university. It is not one of several faculties, but a “daughter” of the entire university – it is integrally associated with each of the faculties and with each discipline in which research is conducted at KUL.
