The Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz has become a beneficiary of the “Welcome to Poland” program, financed by the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA). The university will implement the project “Welcome Center of the Kazimierz Wielki University as a link in the development of internationalization”.  

The results will be creating central information and contact point, the so-called The Welcome Center, implementation of intercultural workshops for Polish and foreign students, as well as conducting promotional activities. An important aspect of the project are also activities aimed at the so-called internationalization at home. NAWA funds will be used to finance classes aimed at increasing the teaching competencies of lecturers in conducting classes in English.

The aim of the “Welcome to Poland” program is the internationalization of Polish institutions of higher education and science by increasing their potential in servicing foreign students and researchers.
