Bydgoszcz University of Technology has become a beneficiary of the nationwide program “Welcome to Poland”. The aim of the program of the National Agency for Academic Exchange is to support the institutional capacity of Polish universities through academic cooperation with foreign entities, increasing the competences of the academic staff and the institution’s potential in accepting people from abroad.

As part of the program, the project “Welcome to PBS – adaptation of the Bydgoszcz University of Technology to the reception and service of students and staff from abroad” is being implemented. The main goal of the project is to shape attitudes of openness and tolerance in the environment of teaching, scientific and administrative staff.

Integration and cultural workshops and trips will be held at the University of Technology, thanks to which students and foreign staff will be able to learn about Polish customs and culture, and students and Polish staff will be able to familiarize themselves with the customs and culture prevailing in the countries of origin of the foreign academic community of the Bydgoszcz University.
