On 1 February 2023, the call for proposals for the “Excellent Science II” programme was launched. Funding is available for projects related to the organisation of scientific conferences and the publication of scientific monographs.
Funding from the programme can be provided to universities, institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences, research institutes, institutes operating as part of the Łukasiewicz Research Network, the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences, the Medical Centre for Postgraduate Education and other units working for the dissemination of science.
The amount of funding from the funds for higher education and science in the module: “Support for scientific conferences” is no more than PLN 400 000, and for the module “Support for scientific monographs” – no more than PLN 80,000. At the same time, this funding cannot constitute more than 90% of the total cost of project implementation.
