The National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) has opened the call for applications for the Prof. Stefan Banach Programme for international students.  The Banach NAWA Programme is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and NAWA to support the socio-economic development of developing countries by enhancing the knowledge and education of their citizens.

Until 31 March 2023, applications can be submitted under the scholarship programme for MA studies in Polish or English at Polish universities supervised by the Minister of Education and Science.

The implementation of education under the programme must begin in the academic year 2023/2024 by undertaking a preparatory course prior to studies or second-cycle studies. 

The Banach NAWA scholarship can be applied for by citizens of: Albania, Angola, Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Montenegro, Ethiopia, Philippines, Georgia, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Colombia, Kosovo, Lebanon, North Macedonia, Mexico, Moldova, Nigeria, Palestine, Peru, South Africa, Senegal, Serbia, Tanzania, Tunisia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Vietnam.
