Over 80 foreigners from 30 countries, including the USA, South Korea, the Czech Republic, France and Hungary, are taking part in this year’s 50th Summer School of Polish Language and Culture at the Catholic University of Lublin (KUL).

Students of the school not only explore the secrets of the Polish language, but also learn about Polish culture. Among the students are a large group of scholarship holders from the National Agency for Academic Exchange, including students of Slavic studies and scholars of Polish history and culture.

The summer language programmes have varying levels of intensity – from 5 to 8 hours a day. In addition to learning the Polish language, classes include lectures on Polish culture and literature, Polish history and socio-economic issues.

Participants in the Summer School will visit Lublin, Sandomierz, Warsaw, Kozłówka, Zamość, as well as take part in concerts and dance workshops specially prepared for them.
