Catholic University of Lublin receives the consent to establish a medical faculty

Regular general-academic studies in medicine may be established by the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (KUL). The university obtained the approval of the Minister of Education and Science and positive recommendations of the Polish Accreditation Committee and the Minister of Health.

Rector of the Catholic University of Lublin, Fr. Prof. Mirosław Kalinowski announced that the medical faculty will be launched in 2023. He added that the university has established cooperation in this matter with the Medical University of Lublin, Medical College of Wisconsin in the USA, Gemelli Polyclinic and the University of “La Sapienza” in Rome, Holy Spirit University of Kaslik in Lebanon and the local School of Medicine and Medical Sciences, and the University of Navarra in Pamplona, Spain.

Initially, 60 people will be able to study medicine at the Catholic University of Lublin, but their number will increase every year. There are also planning to launch this course in English.
