Promotion of Polish science, culture, history, economic and technological potential, and the implementation of joint projects, including multimedia and educational, directed to young people, national and foreign media as well as Polish diaspora and Poles abroad are the main provisions of the agreement concluded between the Catholic University of Lublin (KUL) and the Polish National Foundation (PFN).
-PFN and KUL represent common values. New media enable to reach communities with the message around the world. Therefore, it is a natural partnership that will contribute to shaping the image of Poland and Polish society, promoting Polish culture, history and tradition. These activities will take place as part of the Academy of Modern Media and Communication of the Catholic University of Lublin, cooperating with the Polish National Foundation – said the rector of the Catholic University of Lublin, Prof. Mirosław Kalinowski.
One of the statutory goals of the PFN is scientific and technical, educational and cultural activities, including in maintaining and popularizing the national tradition, cultivating Polish traditions and culture and developing national, civic and cultural awareness.
