The Department of Didactics of Literature and Polish Language of the Catholic University of Lublin (KUL) and the Scientific Club of Digital Humanities of the Catholic University of Lublin are organizing on December 6-7, 2021 the National Scientific Conference “Various aspects of game and gamification in the culture of the 21st century”.
The conference is aimed at students, doctoral students and researchers. During the event, the organizers would like games and gamification to become the subject of research reflection of specialists representing various scientific disciplines.
The presentations and papers during the conference will concern, among others, such issues as: the role of games in culture; ethnography of gamers, ethnography of the game industry; game history; representation of national heritage in games; the use of games in formal and informal learning; game theme in literature; computer games as a battlefield for historical truth; economic and social aspects of games; e-sport and traditional sports.
