Service Learning is a didactic method based on combining education with social commitment. Its implementation and development will be presented at the international conference “Learning by serving”, combined with workshops, co-organized by the Catholic University of Lublin (KUL).    

The event “Science through service” will take place on November 25-26, 2021 online. The organizers are informing, that the meeting is an opportunity to gain practical experience and learn about innovative didactic ideas. Guest lectures will be given by: María Rosa Tapia (CLAYSS, Argentina) and Andrew Furco (University of Minnesota, USA). The workshop will be conducted by specialists from the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt and the Catholic Ukrainian University in Lviv.

The conference is organized as part of the “UNISERVITATE” project, which aims to implement the Service Learning method. Catholic universities from all over the world will participate in the project.
