The Student Journalism Research Club of the Catholic University of Lublin (KUL) is organizing the 10th Student Communication Meetings on May 12-13, 2022. The theme of this year’s event will be Responsibility of media users for safety in an unpredictable world.

The organizers are emphasizing the role of responsibility for information in today’s mediatized world. This was particularly evidenced by the phenomenon of “infodemic” accompanying the coronavirus pandemic. In their opinion, as a result of the isolation and digitization of everyday life in the era of a pandemic, the scientists observed a marked increase in cyberbullying and many other phenomena, which consequences will appear in the future.

The conference will be attended by a group of specialists and experts in security, analysts, journalists and media experts. The conference participants will also receive training in terrorist prevention and broadly understood security of media users.
