Celebration of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw

An interdisciplinary scientific debate “The world after the pandemic” will open the celebration of the Feast of Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University (UKSW) in Warsaw on 23 May 2023.

The event is part of the Faculty Debate series, an interdepartmental academic discussion on important current social issues. The debate, whose main organiser is the Faculty of Humanities at UKSW, will also be attended by academics from other faculties: Medical, Historical Sciences, Canon Law, Social and Economic Sciences. 

On 25 May, there will be doctoral promotions, the awarding of diplomas to post-doctoral fellows, professors, and scholarship recipients from the Ministry of Education and Science.

On 26 May, after the morning prayer at the tomb of Blessed Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński, the patron of UKSW, in the Basilica of St John the Baptist in Warsaw, the main celebrations of the University Day will begin in the Robert Schuman Auditorium Maximum at the Wóycicki campus, which will include an address by Revd Prof. Ryszard Czekalski, Rector of UKSW, the presentation of state and departmental awards and the Rector’s Awards.
