The Center for Incubation and Technology Transfer of the Silesian University of Technology together with entrepreneurs is getting involved in the combat against the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which in many cases causes severe COVID-19 disease.

The Center is launching supporting activities in relation to the socio-economic environment: support in the production of protective helmets in 3D printing technology and search for business partners interested in providing support under the “University of Technology against epidemic” program.

The Center is also supporting research workers in the preparation of a pre-implementation analysis or development of an implementation plan, which is an important element of the pro-quality competition launched by the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology for funding research related to combating COVID-19. It also coordinates and analyzes the possibility of launching other activities supporting the fight against coronavirus, including the possibility of using external financing instruments.
