The Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer of the Silesian University of Technology was awarded the Golden Emblem of International Quality 2018 and became the winner of the Highest Quality program in the QI Services category. The award was received during the European Quality and Innovation Forum.

The Center plays a key role in managing intellectual property of the Silesian University of Technology, in the commercialization of research results and in establishing and maintaining contacts with the business environment.

The title Golden Emblem of International Quality and the certificate signed by leading institutions are a confirmation that the university applies the highest standards, constituting a competitive advantage on the Polish and international market.

The European Quality and Innovation Forum is an event addressed to the scientific, business and local government community. Its purpose is to exchange information and experiences and to integrate these environments.
