The AgriFoodTEF – Centre for Testing Artificial Intelligence in the agri-food sector – has been officially opened at the Innovation Zone in Sielinek. The Centre’s partners are the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Poznan Institute of Technology, the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Centre (PSNC) and the Wielkopolska Agricultural Advisory Centre.
The Innovation Zone is a specially prepared space where visitors can watch demonstrations of the most modern tools used in agriculture. The official opening was made by the European Commissioner for Agriculture Janusz Wojciechowski, the Minister for Agriculture and Rural Development Robert Telus, the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development Ryszard Bartosik, the Minister for European Union Affairs Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk and the Governor of Wielkopolska Michał Zieliński.
The PSNC presented the results of projects related to agriculture in the Zone: Demeter, Datamite, AI4EOSC, ScaleAGData, ICOS, AgriFoodTEF, AgriDataSpace, Stargate, AD4GD.
