Chemists of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń receive Implementation doctorates

Scientists from the chemistry department of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń won the “Implementation doctorate” competition organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

The PhD student included in the program will work in two places under the supervision of two substantive tutors – indicated by the employer and coming from a research unit. The monthly amount of doctoral scholarship for one PhD student is PLN 2,450.00.

The money will be allocated to co-finance the costs of using research infrastructure to carry out research conducted by a PhD student and to finance a doctoral scholarship during the period of doctoral studies provided for in their program, not longer than 4 years.

Implementation doctorates are a modern and innovative education system designed primarily to enliven cooperation between researchers and the socio-economic environment, and to improve knowledge transfer between science and business.
