Center of New Technologies at the University of Warsaw launched a Q Cluster – quantum technology
The scientific core of the cluster consists of the University of Warsaw, the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań, University of Gdańsk, Wrocław University of Science and Technology, Institute of Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN) and the Center for Theoretical Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
It also includes the following companies: Beit, Exatel, Fibrain, Nanores, ORCA COMPUTING, QNA Technology, Quantum Blockchains, Quantum Flytrap, Quantum Optical Technologies, Sequre Quantum and Syderal Polska.
The goal of Cluster Q is understanding and cooperation for the development and commercialization of innovative ideas of scientists in the field of quantum technologies in Poland.
Quantum physics and quantum technologies are described as the greatest scientific challenges with a chance to revolutionize the 21st century.
