Co-financing from the “Canaletto” bilateral exchange program for physicists from Toruń

The project of the Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Applied Computer Science of the Nicolaus Copernicus University received funding from the National Academic Exchange Agency as part of the bilateral exchange program for Canaletto scientists between Poland and Italy.

The project of physicists from Toruń “Transforming ab initio Density Functional Theory into a practical tool for computational chemistry” was one of 15 projects that will be implemented (100 applications submitted and formally correct).

Members of the team are Dr Szymon Śmiga and Mateusz Witkowski, the coordinator of the project is the director of the Institute of Physics – Prof. Ireneusz Grabowski. The exchange will be carried out with the Center for Biomolecular Nanotechnologies Italian Institute of Technology.
