30.10.2020

The official opening of the European New School of Digital Studies (ENS) at Collegium Polonicum in Słubice took place online. It is a joint initiative of the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder) and the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.

The opening of ENS is the beginning of a new chapter and the next stage in the development of the facility. Despite the ongoing pandemic, teams of scientists and collaborators from both partner universities will be able to implement joint projects, plans and goals.

– The European New School of Digital Studies is a symbolic achievement of many years of cooperation between the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań, and the European University Viadrina – says Prof. Bogumiła Kaniewska, rector of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.

The task of ENS is to conduct transdisciplinary research on the challenges of the digital society. The first group of 100 Master of Digital Entrepreneurship students will start their studies in the winter semester.
