Competition for international research projects on biodiversity and climate change

The National Science Center (NCN) in cooperation with the BiodivERsA network are announcing the BiodivClim Biodiversity and Climate Change competition for international research projects on biodiversity and climate change.

International consortia consisting of at least 3 research teams from at least 2 countries participating in the competition may apply for this funding. The head of the Polish team must hold at least a PhD title.

The participating countries include: Austria, Belgium, Brazil (Sao Paulo State), Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Spain, Ireland, Israel, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, Norway, Poland, Portugal, South Africa, Romania, Slovakia, Switzerland, Sweden, Turkey.

In the competition scholars can receive funds for remuneration for the research team, remuneration and scholarships for regular or PhD students, purchase or production of research equipment and they can cover other costs necessary to implement the research project.
The total amount of funds allocated by the National Science Center for the implementation of tasks by Polish research teams in the competition is 500 thousand euro.
