Twenty-three master’s theses presented in 2022 were submitted for this year’s 34th Competition of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for the best master’s thesis in the field of Polish foreign policy.
The Award Committee, chaired by Arkady Rzegocki, Head of the Foreign Service, did not award prizes, but instead granted three distinctions:
Anatol Jaśkowiec for his thesis titled ‘Chinese foreign direct investments in Poland: international and European law dimensions’, written at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw under the supervision of Dr Magdalena Słok-Wódkowska; Aleksandra Kochman for her thesis titled The right to be forgotten in European case law. On the judical dialogue of the highest European courts regarding digital human rights, written at the College of Interdisciplinary Individual Studies in the Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Warsaw under the supervision of Dr Marcin Wiącek; and Natalia Matiaszczyk for her thesis titled Relations between Poland and North Korea after 1989, written at the Faculty of International and Political Studies of the University of Łódź under the supervision of Dr Radosław Bania.
