Announced in 2022, the competition for the Prize of the Minister of Development and Technology for the best thesis, dissertation, and publication in the fields of architecture and construction, planning and spatial development and housing has been settled.

In the engineering thesis category, the first prize was awarded to Eng. Jakub Tomasz Zabawski of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology for his thesis ‘Evaluation of the usefulness of the ultrasonic method in the quality control of cavernous concrete’.

In the master’s thesis category, the winner was Maciej Seweryn Tkaczyk from the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Warsaw University of Technology, for his thesis ‘Conceptual design for the reconstruction of the Golden Glades road interchange in Miami with a comparative analysis of design standards in Poland and the USA’.

The thesis of Dr Szymon Skibicki of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture at the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin ‘Evaluation of the properties of a composite on binders’, was recognised as the best doctoral thesis. “Evaluation of the properties of a cement binder composite for 3D printing”.
