Wrocław University of Science and Technology has developed a tool for automatic analyzing the speeches of presidential candidates that appear in social media. The mechanism will summarize topics of expression, types of election promises, and in the future will also indicate fake news.
The tool is publicly available, however in a truncated version for the time being and it includes the first annotated data set presented along with a ready model of artificial intelligence. It can be used by experts analyzing text data and social media. The program can quickly analyze hundreds of thousands of entries that have appeared in the current and in previous campaign.
Soon, the solution will allow to transcribe audio and video materials as well as bring live coverages. What’s more, it will allow to adapt the model to analyze the political campaign during a referendum or in elections, e.g. to the Sejm and the Senate or to the European Parliament.
