Representatives of science, local government organizations and energy companies as well as specialists of public transport will gather on Monday 16 April at the Silesian University of Technology to discuss the implementation of modern technologies in public transport.

The conference – organized by the Polish Association of Municipalities and Counties, Silesian University of Technology and the city of Gliwice will be held at the Center of New Technologies at the University at ul. Konarskiego 22B. Its aim is to present and compare various solutions used in bus public transport and discuss the conditions for the implementation of new technologies.

The matter of the conference is becoming more and more important due to legislative changes. One of the most important change is the adoption of the Act on electromobility and alternative fuels at the beginning of the year. The first consequences of this regulation will be noticed by local governments and energy companies in 2018.
