Over PLN 5 million for the education of PhD students at the Silesian University of Technology

Two projects from the Silesian University of Technology received funding from the National Center for Research and Development. The university has received over PLN 5 million for the implementation of programs increasing the quality and effectiveness of education at the PhD studies. Both projects will be implemented at the Faculty of Automation, Electronics and Computer Science.

The first awarded project is “AIDA (Applied Integrative Data Analysis) – interdisciplinary PhD studies in the field of data processing and analysis”. It assumes increasing the quality and efficiency of education at PhD studies by creating interdisciplinary studies responding to the growing demand for experts in the analysis of large data sets.

The second project is a program of modern PhD studies in the field of cyber-physical systems. Its primary goal is to provide stable support for the development of young, highly qualified scientific staff and promote new leaders of research teams.
