The Mathematical Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin are the main organizers of the Congress of Young Polish Mathematicians, which will be held on September 20-23, 2018 in Lublin.
Congress is an event that gathers mathematically talented middle school and high school students from Poland.
During the event, its participants will listen to lectures of: Prof. Dr Marek Kordos from the University of Warsaw – “Everything (well, almost everything) about a cycloid”, Prof. Piotr Gwiazda from the Mathematical Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences – “Mathematics approximate”, and Prof. Andrzej Ruciński from the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań – “Extreme harvest theory”.
