The European Union will finance the MOVEx project, which will create a platform facilitating the international exchange of students and employees. It will be a form of education for people unable to go abroad, or a kind of preparation for students worried about whether they will manage a standard Erasmus trip.
The project will create a platform and also a dozen pilot courses prepared by consortium members and tested by project participants. The experiences from their implementation will allow for the preparation of a set of good practices.
The tool will be created by members of a consortium led by the Wrocław University of Scienca and Technology. It included researchers and non-profit organisations from Estonia, Greece, Georgia and Ukraine. The project ‘Development of the Model and Common Information Space of Virtual Exchange Programs – MOVEx’ has been awarded €470,000 by the European Commission under its Virtual Exchanges in Higher Education and Youth programme.
