The law on higher education in April will be addressed to the Sejm. It will take effect from October 1, 2018 – such information was broadcast by Radio Dla Ciebie, Piotr Dardziński, deputy minister of science and higher education.

Deputy Minister Dardziński highlighted that the parliament will need about 2 months to work on this law due to the fact that it is a large legislation and it regulates all areas of science and higher education.

– The whole reform is to improve the quality of education of students and doctoral students. The last provisions of the Act are to enter into force in 2026. If we want students to be well-educated, then we should build hierarchies that are not based on degrees and titles, but on the quality of research – added Deputy Minister Dardziński.
