Kacper Klaus, a student at the architecture faculty of Wrocław University of Science and Technology, has won the main prize in the international architecture competition Coworking Space. He designed Aquacamp – an office facility located on the water, offering comfortable and flexible space for work and meetings.

The competition task was to design a coworking space such that it offers a flexible interior division, providing users with privacy, but also the chance to maintain eye contact with other people using the office.

The winner proposed making use of the city’s river areas and drawing attention to the potential of bodies of water in urban spaces. The coworking office building he designed could moor next to a residential area, a university campus or surrounded by other office or business buildings. The roof of the building would be covered with greenery and the Aquacamp would be transported to the site by a pusher (vessel – a kind of tugboat).
