A delegation from Hunan University of Humanities, Science and Technology from the People’s Republic of China visited the Silesian University of Technology. The guests met with the university’s authorities and also visited the laboratories of the chemistry department. The main purpose of the visit was to establish didactic cooperation between the Chinese university and the Faculty of Chemistry.
During the meeting, both sides presented the potential of their respective universities and discussed the assumptions of the joint teaching programme being developed. The possibility of developing cooperation in the future was also discussed. The next meeting of the partners is scheduled for August in China”.
The guests also had the opportunity to talk to an industry representative, Wojciech Piotrowski – a representative of Losentech sp. z o.o., with which the chemistry faculty has been cooperating for many years. He demonstrated his semi-technical scale research installation located in the department’s technology hall.
