In October this year, the new law on science and higher education will enter into force. I have no doubt about it – said Piotr Muller, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education, on Polish Radio 24.
Referring to the fears that the new law prefers large universities in terms of allocating the major parts of funding transfers to them, Minister Muller said that the government has two options for sharing money. “To treat all equally, or we will try to create a system promoting more successful organizations. We will choose the latter solution. “- he explained.
He also announced the consolidation of scientific research. “We have limited expenditures on research. We should decide on ambitious and useful research for the Polish society and economy, “- said Muller.
