Participation of Polish scientists in programs financed from European funds was discussed on November 14, 2019 at the meeting of the board members of the Council of the National Science Center (NCN) with Jarosław Gowin, deputy prime minister and minister of science and higher education.

The discussion focused on ways to support researchers working in Polish organizations in applying for funding in ERC competitions and in other programs implemented under Horizon 2020.

The possibilities of Horizon Europe (another European Union investment program in the field of research and innovation) were also discussed. Participants of the meeting agreed that it is important to support scientific organizations and individual researchers in applying for funding for research from EU funds, both from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and from executive agencies, including the National Science Center.
