The Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS) in Lublin has been enriched with more PhDs and post-doctorates. On 20 December, doctoral promotions took place in the University Auditorium of the Faculty of Law and Administration at UMCS. 

During the ceremony, 5 people were awarded postdoctoral degrees and thus the ICU reached the number of 1,344 postdoctors promoted in its almost 80-year history. It is worth noting that post-doctoral researchers are increasing the number of independent academics, emphasises the University of Lublin.

Another element testifying to scientific development at the University is the results in terms of doctoral training. During the event, 57 PhDs were promoted, bringing the number of PhDs promoted at the UMCS since its inception to 4763.
