The eDWIN advisory platform, whose originator is the Wielkopolska Agricultural Advisory Centre and whose partner is the Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Centre (PSNC), won two gold medals at the Polagra Premiery fair in Poznań. The awards are given to products distinguished by their innovativeness by experts as well as consumers and fair participants themselves.

The eDWIN platform is completely free of charge and available to everyone on computers and as an application on mobile devices. It includes four electronic services: a virtual farm; sharing of meteorological data; traceability; and risk reporting.

From the farmers’ point of view, the most important are the ‘Virtual farm’ and the ‘Sharing of meteorological data’. The former enables the acquisition, collection and sharing of information on the occurrence of agrophages in an area and provides alerts on possible threats in the field.
